Michelle Buter, Designer at ISOLYN offers her service as a Textile Art Workshop Tutor in primary schools (year 1 onwards), secondary schools and art centres. She specialises in teaching felt making (both 2D and 3D), but can also work within other aspects of textiles and art,

The topic of the workshops can be based on a subject that is currently been worked on with the pupils or the project can be set by Michelle.

The pupils of Gilbert Colvin Primary School made individual pieces of felt, which was made into a wall hanging.

The main aim of these workshops is to get the pupils to produce a piece of hand made textile, the workshop can progress to enable pupils to make a product from the material they have created, i.e. Hats, Bags, scarves, cushions, rugs, wall hanging, sculptures, the list goes on....

Workshops can take place during the day, after school or in weekend or summer sessions.
